Ubatuba Tour (David only, 21-27 August)

I will meet my parents at Sao Paulo airport on Friday 21 August in the morning and then take the bus at 9:15am to Ubatuba. Bus takes around 4:30 hours and costs R100 (https://www.passaromarron.com.br/portal-de-passagens/).
On Thursday 27 August, we will take the bus back to Sao Paulo and from there to Sao Carlos.
If we are a bigger group, we could also book a private bus. Please let me know if you would like to join.
Ubatuba is absolutely stunning!!!
We decided to have a home base in Ubatuba and do day trips up the coast from here. Visitng Paraty is definitely on the bucket list. If you wanted to, you could also stay shorter in Ubatuba and travel up the coast.

Day 1 – Welcome to Cuiabá
Check-in at the hotel is from 2:00 PM.

Tip: Don’t forget your hat or cap – it can get very sunny!
Day 2 – Journey to the Pantanal
After breakfast, we set off on a 120 km journey to the lodge in the heart of the Pantanal.
Arrive in time for lunch, followed by free time to settle in and relax.
In the afternoon, enjoy a light trail walk to familiarize yourself with the surroundings. After dinner, experience nighttime spotlighting, one of the most magical ways to observe nocturnal wildlife.
Day 3 – Jaguar Day at Porto Jofre
Start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading to Porto Jofre.
Experience Jaguar Day, an 8-hour river cruise along the São Lourenço River, considered one of the best places on Earth to spot jaguars.
Lunch is served onboard, maximizing your time for wildlife observation.
Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and rest.
Day 4 – Sunrise and Land Safari
Rise before the sun for the Sunrise Safari, a unique chance to witness Pantanal wildlife waking up and enjoy the stunning sunrise over the plains.
After breakfast, embark on a land safari to spot even more species in their natural habitat.
Following lunch, enjoy free time to relax before the second nighttime spotlighting, ending the day with unforgettable memories.
Day 5 – Return to Cuiabá
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and begin the journey back to Cuiabá.
Arrival at the airport is expected in the afternoon.
